The Project
CODE magazine’s 2012 Survival Kit Project is both a global creative call for designers as well as a platform for inspiration and the sharing of visions. Co-creating the future, or at least parts of it, is what this project is about.
The project invites architects, fashion designers, jewelry designers, graphic designers/illustrators and industrial designers to present solution-oriented designs and visions for a post-2012 world. This creative call was officially launched on 25 September 2011 with the release of CODE magazine’s 2012 Survival Kit issue. The deadline for the creative call is 21 February 2012. From 21 April 2012 untill 21 May 2012, a 2012 Survival Kit Project exhibition will run at the NIMk museum in Amsterdam. It will come supplemented with lectures, screenings, workshops and other related events. For updates please check the project’s website, CODE magazine’s blog and Facebook.
